What Warhammer Fantasy should I start with?

I would like to play with an army which is easy to play with, which looks good (not like ogres lol) and most of all, which is fun to play with. I was thinking about dwarfs, what do you think about it?What Warhammer Fantasy should I start with?
Don't start tomb kings , well, not until there new codex comes out. (I think that it will soon). But I'm holding off on them until the codex comes out but it is just a recomendation. What Warhammer Fantasy should I start with?
Dwarfs are a good army to start with but they don't have any magic users, they do have some awesome war machines and are great in close combat (when they eventually get there, they are slow). They have very low initiative so most of the time strike last in combat, its worth kitting them out with great weapons. The biggest drawback of great weapons is that they always strike last in combat but the chances are that you will be striking last anyway so it doesn't really matter and the great weapon gives you +2 strength.

I find Skaven are fun to use as well, they have some really great characters and some of their magic is awesome (Plague is an amazing offensive spell against low toughness opposition). Its always going to be a challenge with a Skaven army though, sometimes you will steamroller all over the enemy and on other days everything will go against you and your Skaven Army will run away from everything.

My other army is High Elves, there is only one weakpoint with them, and thats low toughness but their speed more than makes up for this. They have great magic users, some awesome cavalry, great in combat and have some really strong monsters at their disposal, they are a really fun army to use overall.

The best bit of advice though would be read the background on the armies, look which army has the models you like the look of most and then make a choice and have fun with it.
