In Warhammer 40k What is the Difference Between Psykers and Sorcerers?

I know there is SOME difference, but it isn't apparent to me. What is the difference between a psyker (like an Eldar) and a Sorcerer?

Thanks! In Warhammer 40k What is the Difference Between Psykers and Sorcerers?
This question was recently answered explicitly in the "Servants of the Dark Gods" supplement for the Dark Heresy 40k RPG.

A psyker is someone able to tap into the power of the Warp naturally, to perform acts of psychic power.

A sorceror is someone who uses rituals and pacts with Warp entities to tap the power of the Warp without necessarily possessing a natural psychic gift.

Note that the two aren't mutually exclusive. In Warhammer 40k What is the Difference Between Psykers and Sorcerers?
in the 40k universe, a psyker is anybody with the ability to do funky things with their mind, like melting someone else's mind.

a sorcerer, is found in chaos, is basicly the same thing. now remember that chaos marines were once regular space marines. so, in theory there are some psykers, aka libarians, in the chaos army. but its not to say that the chaos gods could grant gifts to certain people, or certain people can play with supernatural things to create magic or the warp, or what have you.

Chaos is a tricky thing.

just remember WAAAGH!!In Warhammer 40k What is the Difference Between Psykers and Sorcerers?
The difference is purley cosmetic, its in the name. a sorcerror is just a psyker of chaos.
