I like sword fighting games a little more but I like building the figures wich I cant do with lord of the rings strategy game.What is more fun and popular, Warhammer 40k, or Lord of the rings stratagy game?
There's no question that Warhammer 40,000 is more popular than Lord of the Rings, perhaps by a factor five or greater.
That said, both games are equally fun and Lord of the Rings is actually far better designed as a game than Warhammer 40,000, which suffers from legacy issues.
But if your biggest enjoyment is in the building of the miniatures - and, prrsumably, some converting and customizing of miniatures - but you prefer a fantasy-style game to a science fiction game, then why not check out Warhammer 40,000's fantasy sister-game, Warhammer Fantasy Battles?
